For actors, performers and creative professionals, a good headshot is essential. But in the modern world of social media, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X and more platforms than you can shake a stick at - it’s important for anyone to have an image that pops out of the page at the viewer.

Take some time, and invest in a good headshot. It will carry you far.

I love working with individuals to get a great shot - it doesn’t always happen straight away, but you can be assured I know how to get it out of you, no matter how nervous or uncomfortable you think you are in front of a camera.

It’s important to update your headshot from time to time too. We all change as life goes on, and it’s important that your headshot is authentically you. I’ll always give a discounted rate to returning clients to update their headshots.

Headshot Rates

Be authentically who you are.

A range of headshots will serve you well, each having a slightly different mood. But, don’t forget to let your personality out to play. I’ll be looking to bring it out.

Don’t expect me to be serious all the time - I’ll bet you aren’t, and people want to see a natural, genuine human when they look at a good headshot. It’s worth taking the time to relax and connect to the camera (and by extension - me).

For actors especially, your headshot is the first thing a casting director will see
- so let’s make sure you are noticed.

If you’ve not had headshots taken before, or are just looking for some quick tips on how to get the most out of your headshot session, I put together some advice over on my journal here - check this out for some useful insights!

  • Minimum. 90 minutes shoot-time, either on location around Glasgow city centre.

    Ideal if you want to have multiple looks/outfits for your session. Six final images from your shoot retouched, and supplied in high-res (print ready) and web-friendly resolution. Final images supplied in colour. Black and white versions supplied upon request at no extra cost.

    £180 with 6 included images, additionals available for a small extra charge.

    (20% discount for current acting students - see below for details)

  • Approx. 60 minutes shoot-time, at a location of your choice around Glasgow.

    A shorter session for those who need less choice of final shots.

    Two final images from your shoot retouched, and supplied in high-res (print ready) and web-friendly resolution. Final images supplied in colour.

    Black and white versions available in addtion to colour at small extra charge.

    £125 with 2 included images, addiionals available for a small extra charge.

Of course we do. I know I definitely do.

Currently, I offer discounts in two cases; returning clients and current acting students.

For returning clients on their second shoot or headshot update session, you’ll get a 10% discount. Third repeat session and afterwards entitles you to 20% off. (Applies to standard headshot rate only.)

For current students of a Scottish accredited acting course (i.e. one you attend in person at a college/university, FE establishment) - you’ll get 20% off your first standard headshot session, if you can show your enrollment status.
